DHP Family at Live UK Summit

Members of DHP Family will be attending the Live UK Summit in London tomorrow, speaking as part of panels on a range of issues facing the contemporary live music industry today. Launched in 2007, the Summit is the only event in the UK dedicated to uniting and supporting the country’s contemporary live music industry.

DHP Family’s Head of Marketing, Mark Dennis will be on the panel for The Social Network discussion, looking at the explosion of digital marketing opportunities, how they can be exploited in the live music industry and the potential danger of impact saturation as the options for online promotion continue to evolve.

Anton Lockwood, Promotions Director said: “It’s always a pleasure to be invited to discuss the topics of the day with our music industry colleagues. We are very happy to have DHP Family represented on two panels at this year’s Live UK conference.” Anton himself will be part of the panel on Backing The B(r)and. With multi-million-pound arena naming rights deals and wider brand interaction at festivals, with the accompanying value added content and online enhancement, has live entertainment and the corporate world of brand marketing got the formula right … and is it working?

The conference and its networking features aim to help companies and individuals in the live sector grow their businesses through expanded knowledge and serves to help others – such as brands, media and service providers, wishing to access or expand in the live sector – get to know the industry and meet with key players. Organised by Live UK Events, the Summit brings together a broad spectrum of live music-associated companies and individuals, giving them the opportunity to share insights and debate topical issues.
