Lawnmower Deth: Auction For S.O.P.H.I.E. Foundation

Brit metal goofballs Lawnmower Deth have teamed up with the Sophie Lancaster Foundation for a fund-raising campaign that will culminate with a special Xmas show at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on December 20. The band are currently holding an auction and two separate raffles, offering a huge number of cool and exclusive prizes. For full details of the campaign or to make a donation to this incredibly worthy cause, visit the band’s S.O.P.H.I.E. auction Facebook page HERE.

“What started as a simple idea of having our photo taken with someone for a donation seems to have spiralled out of control,” says frontman Pete Lee (a.k.a. Qualcast Mutilator). “We now have auctions and raffles running which have huge support. We have everything from a £250 bid from someone to have their photo taken on stage with us, to five pound raffle lots which can win two Download 2014 VIP passes for all three days of the festival, tons of stuff from the Earache Records office, swag from Iron Maiden and countless other bands from Evil Scarecrow to Opeth, the list is pretty much endless! This is only running for a month and will culminate with the celebration gig in Nottingham on December 20.”

Other bands performing at the Nottingham show include UK thrash legends Xentrix, Reanimator and Line Of Fire. Tickets are available now from www.alt-tickets.co.uk.
