At DHP we value our people and want to help them grow and develop alongside us. We offer extensive training to new recruits in all areas of the business, we are extremely proud to invest in our staff and help them build a career in music and hospitality.
Since 2015, we have worked closely with Danny Clarke Training to develop our people. This CPD accredited training programme is a 10-module course, designed to help improve yourself, your business and your relationships with staff colleagues and clients.

They’ve accepted and integrated me and my training as an essential part of their People plan and subsequently the business as a whole.
DHP have consistently, year after year, identified a set of managers or rising stars to spend around 6-8 months signing up for, attending and fully participating in my signature 10-module Management/Leadership Development Programme.
Michele and her people didn’t just rush the decision either – this was no tick box exercise. Instead they went to the trouble of initially meeting at their Head Office in Nottingham to outline their vision for the business and their people. If only more clients took the time out to explain their journey and destination. It massively helped me shape the Programme so the individual managers and the business as a whole reaped the most rewards they could from it. It’s also unusual to get to meet the head of the company, George, who both massively welcomed me into the business but has also attend the training himself, alongside the rest of the SMT.
All of the above has showcased to me how much DHP are sincerely investing in their people, the genuine desire to better themselves but also the culture being shaped here – no one is too big too learn. Impressive stuff!
