About the role

An exciting entry level opportunity has arisen to join DHP Family’s Marketing Team, based at our head office in Nottingham. The Marketing Assistant will support the wider team in delivering marketing for a range of concerts, tours and festivals. Responsibilities will include:

  • Copywriting, proofreading, producing and ordering marketing materials across print, websites, social media and mailouts.
  • Creating and analysing online advertisements across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. A knowledge of paid advertising on these platforms & others is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Creating highly engaging social media content plans for all festival and DHP digital channels and monitoring performance.
  • Developing DHP’s social media presence in keeping with current trends.
  • Updating DHP & festival websites on WordPress.
  • Providing general administrative support to the department in the office and on site at festivals.
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns on specific concerts, including creating plans, ordering print, setting up online adverts and monitoring all marketing for these concerts while working closely to strict budgets.


Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone with a love for live music and an interest in the industry
  • Someone with an interest in the latest social media trends and emerging platforms
  • Someone with excellent copywriting and creative skills
  • Someone who is an excellent communicator and is confident sharing ideas
  • Someone who is very organised with great attention to detail
  • Someone who can learn quickly, has a positive attitude and drive to grow & develop in the role
  • Someone who is IT literate, ideally with a basic knowledge of digital marketing
  • Someone with experience in a marketing or copywriting role, or a degree in a related subject
