Unfortunately due to recent consumer protection regulations introduced by the Government and enforced by Nottingham Trading Standards, we have had to change our policy on booking fees for tickets purchased in person with cash at our Alt-Tickets Box Office at Rock City.
From Tuesday 12 August 2014 all payments for tickets Alt-Tickets will incur the same booking fee of 10%, irrespective of the method of purchase or payment type you choose (i.e. online, phone or in person, by card or cash).
Regrettably, we know this will impact buyers using the Rock City box office who had previously avoided paying a booking fee. We recognise the impact this will have for the small number of customers who pay in cash, so we wanted to say a little ‘thank you’ for being understanding about these changes… we will have 1000 £1 vouchers* to redeem on a drink in any of these venues – Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Stealth or Bodega, available for card and cash buyers paying in person at the box office from Tuesday 12 August 2014. * Vouchers Terms & Conditions: Available on a first come first served basis. Can only be exchanged at a DHP Nottingham venue in part payment for a drink (non-alcoholic or alcoholic) from a bar at any event. Must be exchanged before 31/12/2014. One £1 voucher will be given out for every ticket purchased with a face value of £10.00 or more. Cash value is 0.0001p.
